APPLICATION
For noise-sensitive analog circuits, using the FC-LX1D with your AC/DC module ensures compliance with IEC/EN61000-4-5 surge levels of ±2KV (2Ω internal resistance) and ±4KV (12Ω internal resistance).
If you opt for the FC-LX1D2, not only will your AC/DC module meet the aforementioned surge levels, but it will also satisfy the EMI requirements of CISPR22/EN 55022 Class B.
Just a heads-up: when pairing an EMC filter with a MORNSUN AC/DC module, make sure the module’s maximum input voltage doesn’t exceed the filter’s max voltage. Also, the module’s maximum input current should be below the EMC filter’s nominal current.
